Bringing remote device access and public printing to the Mac®
uniFLOW Online 2025.3 delivers powerful new features for Mac users. The customer helpdesk can remotely access devices from a Mac, and print services from Mac devices are available in public spaces. This release also adds new automation capabilities for scan workflows, which reduces manual interaction and boosts productivity.
Secure remote device access for Mac
As organisations face rising labor costs and increasing demand for responsive end-user support, uniFLOW Online now enables secure remote access to Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE and Canon imageFORCE devices from Mac computers, complementing the existing Windows functionality. IT teams can now provide real-time troubleshooting and support across platforms for a consistent and unified experience for all customer helpdesk employees.

Smarter scanning with barcode extraction
Scanning, naming, indexing, and distribution of batches of documents is a manual, time-consuming task. uniFLOW Online can use barcodes to separate individual documents from a batch or extract metadata from them. uniFLOW Online now facilitates the extraction of email addresses directly from barcodes, streamlining scan-to-email workflows. In mailrooms, where separator sheets or barcode stamps are used to tag documents, the extracted email address can be used to automatically set the recipient email address. These scan workflow enhancements help organisations reduce manual steps, minimise errors, and boost overall productivity.

“uniFLOW Online 2025.3 is a major step forward in making secure, efficient document workflows accessible to everyone—regardless of platform,” said Lex-Jan Westra, Marketing Director at NT-ware. “We’re proud to deliver innovations that meet the evolving needs of modern workplaces.”
The new features reflect Canon’s ongoing commitment to cross-platform productivity, security, and user experience.
